IIFYM is a framework popularised in the bodybuilding community: rather than forbidding specific foods, you hit your daily protein, carb, and fat targets from any source you choose. Research shows equivalent fat loss between IIFYM and traditional "clean eating" at matched calories and protein — adherence, not food moralising, drives results. That said, hitting macros predominantly from whole foods improves satiety and micronutrient adequacy.
